Nowadays that the Greek family is faced with multiple transitions and difficulties in financial, social and interpersonal level, undoubtedly parents’ counseling offers help and relief. The “Parents Schools” Program, supported by the Ministry of Education, provides free of charge supportive counseling to families. One of the basic principles of the group work with parents is that the whole of the group is greater from the sum of its parts. In this context, systems theory constitutes today one of the most important therapeutic approaches. Brownfield Reuse Conflicts and Environmental Education Implications: A Chinese Perspective
Fujian Normal University, China

This study** examines brownfield reuse conflicts in China. Based on the rational selection of four major stakeholders (i.e., the polluting enterprises, local governments, developers and community residents) in the process of brownfield reuse, the researcher used the classical model of Game Theory to analyze the conflicts among the stakeholders and provided the practical reasons why these conflicts exist and how to advance effective countermeasures. It is suggested that standards for brownfield identification be set, laws and regulations for pollution responsibility identification devised, information management systems for brownfield reuse established, innovative brownfield pollution control technology developed, and an incentive mechanism for brownfield pollution governance created. The implications for environmental education are discussed.
